Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to show or delete what we hold about you at any time.

What we collect

When you create an account we store your email and the name you choose. If you request the free lesson or join the waiting list, we store the email you leave. If you ask for a private lesson, we keep the contact you choose to give us: email, Instagram, Telegram or WhatsApp. If you write to us through a form, we keep your message so we can reply.

While you follow a lesson, the player counts the minutes you actually watch and stores the daily total against your email. That is what draws the weekly bar in your account. It is a count of minutes, nothing else: we do not record your screen, your camera or your microphone.

The chat with Oleg

On the yearly plans you can write to Oleg from inside a lesson and attach a photo or a short clip. Those files are kept in private storage, never public: each one opens only through a temporary link that expires within the hour. Oleg is the only person who sees them.

The whole conversation, files included, is deleted after two days. Nothing is kept for later, nothing is used for anything except answering you. If you want a message gone sooner, write to us and it goes.

Payments

Payments are processed by Polar, our Merchant of Record. We never see or store your card details. After a purchase we receive your email and what you bought, so we can open your course in your account.

Emails we send

We send the practical ones: your access and password links, receipts for what happens in your account, and a few short notes around the free lessons. No third-party advertising, no spam. If you want no more emails from us, reply to any of them or write to us and we will stop.

Cookies and analytics

Functional cookies keep you signed in to your account and hold your access to a free lesson. Those are necessary for the site to work. There are no advertising cookies and nothing is shared with ad networks. Page analytics are cookie-free and anonymous (Vercel Analytics). Our own logs record events like "someone requested the free lesson" with a one-way hashed identifier; we do not store your IP address.

Visit counting. With your permission, I store a random marker in your browser so I can tell repeat visits apart from new ones and see which pages actually help. It holds no name, no email and nothing about you personally, and it is never shared. Decline, or ignore the question, and no marker is stored: visits are still counted, but each one looks like a stranger. You can change your mind at any time through the Visit counting link at the bottom of every page.

Who processes data for us

A few trusted services run Oleg Ballet: Supabase (accounts and course access), Polar (payments), Resend (email), Vercel (hosting and analytics) and Kinescope (video player). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

Your rights

Email us and we will show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and data entirely. We answer within a few days.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update this page and the date below. Last updated: August 1, 2026.
